Digital Content Solutions Web Build

I started working with Digital Content Solutions (DCS) after a full rebrand of theirs. Founder, Christina Mobley, had just worked with another designer to refresh her logo and visual identity, but her website no longer matched the new branding or the direction her services She needed a completely new site built on a platform she could confidently update herself.

My role was to build the entire site from scratch in Wix Classic, translating her Canva-based brand assets and layouts into a cohesive digital experience. I also provided much of the website copy, organized her content structure, and designed the pages to support her services, digital products, and educational resources.

Tools Used:  Wix · Canva

The new site required a clear information architecture, consistent visual system, and flexible page layouts that could support ongoing content creation. I developed the site structure from the ground up, establishing page hierarchies, service pathways, and modular sections that allow the business to scale its offerings over time. Using Wix Classic, I designed each page to maintain brand coherence while working within the platform’s constraints, ensuring the site remained easy for the team to update without sacrificing visual polish.

Key features of the build included a digital store for paid and free resources, a membership area for gated content, a blog for ongoing publishing, and multiple custom contact forms tailored to different service types. I also integrated email capture tools and promotional pop-ups, created mobile-responsive layouts, and optimized the visual styling for readability and user flow. Together, these elements created a functional, content-rich website that supports both marketing efforts and long-term business growth.

Homepage Redesign Concept for US Resist News

I created a UX-focused redesign of the U.S. Resist News homepage to improve clarity and reduce visual clutter. After auditing the existing layout, I proposed a cleaner information hierarchy, clearer navigation cues, and modular category sections that highlight the latest stories. I also designed multiple hero concepts to better support editorial storytelling and improve overall usability.

Tools Used: WordPress · Figma

During my time supporting U.S. Resist News, I created a homepage redesign concept to address structural issues in their existing layout. The original page was cluttered, repetitive, and difficult to navigate, with category labels, story sections, and featured content competing for attention. I began by auditing the current design and synthesizing actionable recommendations: clarifying story-scrolling cues, removing redundant mid-page sections, improving category organization, and strengthening the site’s visual hierarchy.

From there, I developed several hero redesigns, each exploring different editorial patterns for featured stories, trending content, and category browsing. I also designed a more focused, category-based homepage structure that highlights the latest article in each major topic, making the site easier to scan and more intuitive for readers. The result is a set of UX and visual design explorations that create a cleaner, more engaging news-reading experience while aligning with the publication’s mission and content style.
